Alejandro Leal Jr.

Alejandro Leal Jr. passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the age of 66. He was born on August 27, 1958 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was 15 years old when he and his family immigrated to Waukegan, Illinois in 1973. He attended Waukegan East High School.

Alejandro was a self-taught electrician who worked at Dynomax, Zebra Technologies and Williams Video Games. He was also the proud owner of Leal’s Electrical Works.

He was an avid fisherman, loved horses and everything Texas. He was a practical jokester and enjoyed making people laugh. His prized possession was his 1972 Buick Skylark.

He is survived by his two sons, Juan D. Leal and Eloy Leal who both reside in Texas, Rosy Leal of Park City, Illinois, Marisela Galaviz (Ramon) of Milwaukee, Armando (Angelica) of Pleasant Prairie, Emma Rios (Manuel) of Milwaukee and Silvia Diego (Ricardo) of Waukegan. He has 2granddaughters Suzy and Zoey Leal, 11 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Alejandro Leal and Emma Delia Leal Casiano.

He resided in Park City, Illinois with his girlfriend Narong (Lynn).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, located at 1521 Washington St.
