Bernardo Estrada Garcia, 69, of Waukegan passed away on January 8, 2018 in his home. He was born August 20, 1948 in Tonatico, Estado de México, México. Bernardo was a happy, funny, loving and hardworking man. He was very much dedicated to his family and his beloved wife, Amalia. Bernardo is survived by his wife and his children Israel (Nancy), Jesus (Josefina), Emanuel (Elizabeth), Maria Elena and her dog Daisy. He is also survived by his beloved grand children Andy, Jeremy, Jacob, Jocelyn, Jade, Janice, Jesse, Emanuel Jr., Emily, Elli; siblings Antonio (Consuelo), Santos (Bertha), Luisa (Antonio), Carmela (Javier), Mario (Bella), Irene, Valente, Miguel, Gloria, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by both parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 beginning at 6:00pm at Emmanuel Church 1300 10th Street, Waukegan, IL 60085 with Pastor Jessy Padilla officiating the service beginning at 7:00pm.
