Dennis R. Rosenthal Jr.

–

Waukegan, Illinois

Dennis R. Rosenthal Jr., aka Papa Dennis, 59 years old of Wisconsin, formerly of Waukegan, passed away peacefully in his sleep the morning of November 27, 2022. Dennis was born on September 6, 1963 to Dennis R. Sr. & Stephanie Rosenthal (née Jurkovac). He was a master carpet installer by trade and worked hard from a young age. Dennis loved music and played bass with a few bands over the years. He was a diehard Packers fan with a love of Lambeau Field. Dennis had a soft spot for dogs and kids, spending a lot of time helping with his grandkids as they were young, and always making time for his family. Dennis loved to host events and holidays and was known for his Sloppy Joes. He loved to cook and to eat good food! Aside from spending time with loved ones, Dennis had a love of fishing and enjoyed going to the lake. One of his favorite places to be was Lake Petenwell, where he took his family over the years for vacation and eventually moved there.

Dennis in short was an amazing person with an easy-going personality that made it impossible not to like him. He was funny, relatable, kindhearted with an eccentric charm that made him fun to be around. He will be missed dearly by all of those who knew and loved him.
