Edwing Jesus Magallon Benitez, 38, of Waukegan, passed away on January 25, 2018. Edwing was born on June 27, 1979 in Mexico City Distrito Federal in Mexico to Leticia Benitez Velazquez and Jesus Magallon Ayala. Edwing was the life of the party, his smile would brighten your day. He enjoyed singing, dancing, fun with family & friends, and spending time with his “amore” love of his life. His loss is devastating to those who knew and loved him dearly. He is survived by both parents; his wife of 6 years, Miriam Lopez; daughter’s Nicole Magallon, Alexia Lopez, and Jocelyn Magallon; his sister Adriana Magallon; beloved long time friend and employer David Silvester who has always been there for his entire family; extended family and numerous friends. Edwing’s visitation will be on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm-9:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. His funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday, January 29, 2018 with visitation beginning at 11:00 am at Hope Church also known as Iglesia Assemblea Apostolica 5501 Stearns School Road, Gurnee, IL 60031.
