Gloria Jean Guerra

Gloria Jean Guerra, passed away on October 14, 2022. Gloria was born on March 22, 1942, the daughter of Dorothy & Antonio Matus. She met and married her husband, Antonio Guerra. Together they had four children. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church. She enjoyed listening to music and enjoying her beautiful garden. Gloria was a mother who always put her family first; truly one of a kind. She had an affectious laugh, a beautiful smile, and a love for life. She taught her children to love, give, and always be kindhearted. Her blessed and sweet soul, gentle smile will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Alice Mejia and three sons Alberto A Guerra, Victor R Guerra, Marco T Guerra; seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren; her beloved siblings Victor Matus & Norma Guerra; extended family and many friends. Gloria is preceded in death by her dearest husband, Antonio Guerra and her sister Carmelita Gonzalez.

Gloria's visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL, 60085. Her funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 624 Douglas Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
