Ignacio Rodriguez Villafan, 86, passed away on March 6, 2026. Ignacio was born on November 26, 1939, in Michoacán, Mexico. He was the son of Salvador Rodriguez Moreno and Maria Dolores Villafan.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Mireles; his children Alejandra, Ramon, Maria, Carlos, David, Erika, Lola, Nacho, Salvador, and Lorena; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends both here and in Mexico.

His wake will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, IL 60085. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
