Ildefonsa "Concha" Montemayor Obituary (1940

Ildefonsa (Concha) Montemayor, 82, of Waukegan passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 13, 1940 in Cuatrocienegas, Mexico and was a long time Waukegan resident. Concha was a nurturing mother and grandmother who devoted her life to raising her family. She is survived by her children, Theodore “Ted” (Chris) Montemayor of Antioch, Paul (Sylvia) Montemayor of Waukegan, Lydia Montemayor of Waukegan, Concepcion “Chita” (Armando) Alvarez of Waukegan, Jose “Joe” (Katie) Montemayor of Waukegan, Juan Arturo “Johnny” Montemayor of Waukegan; devoted grandmother to 22 grandchildren; loving great grandmother to 35 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews. Concha is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Montemayor; her parents, Rosalio and Lidia Flores; sister Juanita Rivas. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Most Blessed Trinity (Immaculate Conception site), 510 Grand Ave. in Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington St. Waukegan.
