Iliana Ruiz, de 18 años, llegó al eterno descanso el primero de julio de 2026. Iliana nació el 2 de mayo de 2008. Una guerrera, una joven alegre que luchó y disfrutó de su vida hasta el final.

Le sobreviven su querida mamá Margarita Arenas, sus hermanas y hermano, tías y tíos, primas y primos, y muchas amistades en Waukegan quienes tuvieron el honor de conocerla.

Su velorio sera el martes, 7 de julio 2026 de 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm en la funeraria, The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Su última despedida será el miércoles, 8 de julio 2026 de 10:00 am - 11:30 am en la funeraria. Su Santa misa será a las 12:00 pm, en la Iglesia Sagrada Familia, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Iliana Ruiz, 18 years old, entered eternal rest on July 1st, 2026. Iliana was born on May 2, 2008. She was a true warrior, who was the light of our lives and enjoyed life till the very end.

She is survived by her dear mom, Margarita Arenas, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in Waukegan who had the opportunity to know her.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Her final viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the funeral home as well. Her funeral mass will follow to Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048.
