Jessica Linette Torres also known as Yessie, 48 of Waukegan, Illinois was born on September 18th, 1976, in Waukegan, Illinois to Edgardo Torres and Elba Santiago. On May 24th, 2025, Jessica departed this earthly life.

Jessica grew up in Waukegan, Illinois where she attended elementary school and Waukegan East High School.

Jessica was always a loving, caring, outgoing, loyal, and intelligent woman that always kept her faith no matter what the situation, and most importantly she was a fighter.
Jessica was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandma, aunt, and friend. Jessica always showed unconditional love and support to those around her. That same sweet disposition and warm smile could brighten anyone’s day.

Jessica was always the type of person who was productive and always on her feet. She was always known to be a hardworking woman. She was a loyal employee at Amazon for over 7 years. On her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family/friends and binge watching her favorite shows.

Jessica’s generosity, love, and compassion profoundly impacted the lives of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience and cherished memories that will be carried in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Jessica leaves to cherish her memories: her beloved children: sons Kian Torres & Joseph Torres-Stackhouse; her grandson, Joseph Vasilios; brothers Alberto Torres and Ethan Drassler; sister Anissa Ivy; niece Ryiah Ivy; step mom Victoria Torres; parents Elba Santiago and Edgardo Torres.
