Kajaun C. Hughes, 21, of Waukegan, passed away on July 24, 2021. He was born on May 24, 2000. Kajaun was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend to many. He leaves behind his dearest two mom’s Melissa Keys and Jonnette Bryant; three fathers Dewayne King, Johnathan Pilcher and Jeremy Gilliam; three children Kajaun Hughes Jr., Kshawn, and Kyasia; eight siblings Iyana Keys, Chardonney Timmons, Charles Timmons, Jeraniah Moore, Gianni Gilliam, Kamerion Jones, Johnathan Pilcher Jr., Tayden Gilliam; God father Timothy “Tim” Rossi; special women Tyeisha Smith and Idella Hollins; a host of special cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother Etta Shelley and uncle Cedric Jones. His visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, Illinois, 60085.
