Latonia F Haynes Robinson Obituary (1968 - 2024)

Latonia Robinson passed away at her home in Waukegan, IL on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at the age of 56. She was born August 22nd, 1968 in Tunica, MS to Willie Robinson II and Estella Robinson. She relocated to Waukegan, IL in 1979 with her family. She attended Carmen Buckner, Webster Jr. High School and Waukegan High School. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, hosting and attending social gatherings. After the passing of her mother, Stella, in 1999, she adopted the Matriarch title within her immediate family. She loved her family fiercely, throwing birthday parties, baby showers, and holiday gatherings. She naturally became the person to go to when you were in need, when times got rough, and you needed someone to lean on. To know her was to love her. She was the glue that held her family together, and will be undoubtably missed. Latonia’s visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 beginning at 9:00 am at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 am at the funeral home as well. Interment will follow to Mount Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion, IL 60099.
