In Loving Memory of Luis Enrique Cortez

Luis E.Cortez, age 68, of Round Lake Park, Illinois, passed away on September 5, 2026.

Luis was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a truly sweet and caring man. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, and the love and laughter he brought to his family. He had a way of making those around him smile, and his presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Luis shared his life with his beloved wife, Maria, and was a proud father to his sons, Marcos, Carlos, and Erick, and his daughters, Joanna, Michelle, and Leslie.

He was also a proud brother of Lorena, Rocio, Ana, Pablo, Sergio and Genoveva, who will cherish the memories they shared with him and carry his love in their hearts.

One of his greatest joys was being a grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Angela, Vincent, Isabella, Olivia, Nikolas, Leah, and Maya, who will carry his love and memory with them throughout their lives.

Luis leaves his family with countless memories, laughter, and a love that will never be forgotten. Although his family will miss his presence more than words can express, a part of him will continue to live through each person he loved.

Luis Enrique Cortez will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
