Luis López González, de 79 años, falleció pacíficamente el 18 de septiembre de 2026 en el Hospital Highland Park en Highland Park, Illinois. Nació en México el 19 de diciembre de 1946, hijo de Ernesto López Cortez y María Luisa González Buen Rostro. Más adelante, Luis se mudó a Illinois, estableciéndose en Northbrook.

Esposo querido, Luis deja a su amada esposa, Celia López (Celia Gonzales Tinoco). Su familia, amigos y vecinos lo recordarán con cariño por la vida que compartió con ellos.

El velorio será el viernes 25 de septiembre de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan; 1521 Washington St., Waukegan, IL 60085. La misa funeral será el sábado 26 de septiembre de 2026, a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Anastasia (Parroquia Little Flower); 624 Douglas Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Luis Lopez Gonzalez, aged 79, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, Illinois. He was born in Mexico on December 19, 1946, to his parents Ernesto Lopez Cortez and Maria Luisa Gonzalez Buen Rostro. Luis later moved to Illinois, making his home in Northbrook.

A beloved husband, Luis is survived by his loving spouse, Celia Lopez (née Celia Gonzales Tinoco). He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and neighbors for the life he shared with them.

Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2026, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan; 1521 Washington St., Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 26, 2026, 10:00am at St Anastasia Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish); 624 Douglas Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085
