We announce the passing of María Domínguez Amado. At the age of 76, María passed away at her home on October 3, 2026. The daughter of Donaciano Ceno and Emilia Amado Santiago, María was born in Veracruz, Mexico.

She is survived by her beloved children, grandchildren, and many family members and friends here and in Mexico.

Her visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Her funeral mass will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sagrada Familia Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
