Moises L. Zavala Sr., 81 of Waukegan, passed away on July 9, 2016 at Vista Medical Center East. Moises was born on September 4, 1934 in Moroleon Guanajuato, Mexico to Julian & Jovita Zavala. Moises is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Maria T. Zavala; their 5 children, Carmen (Luis) Ochoa, Moises Jr. (Maria) Zavala, Manuel (Dora) Zavala, Martha (Adam) Call, Patricia Zavala; 4 brothers and sisters who reside in Mexico; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Julian & Jovita; his son, Porfirio "Pepe" Zavala and his grandson, Juan Zavala; and 5 brother's and sister's. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 14, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL. 60085. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at Most Blessed Trinity - Holy Family Site 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL. 60085 with Father Julio officiating. Entombment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery 1920 Buckley Road Libertyville, IL. 60048.
