Rafael Orozco Chavez Obituary (1948

Rafael Orozco Chavez, longtime resident of Waukegan, gained his wings on May 2, 2020. He was born on October 24, 1948 to Gilberto & Maria de Jesus Chavez. Rafael is survived by his wife, Teresa Chavez, son Gildardo Chavez, Alejandro (Jennifer) Chavez, daughter Ofelia (Jennifer) Henriquez, daughter Yolanda Carrillo and Maria Carrillo; 17 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Rafael Chavez Jr, sisters Maria de Jesus Chavez and Teresa Nuñez; brothers Ernesto Chavez, Antonio Chavez, and Jose Chavez. His private visitation will be held on May 22, 2020 at 9:00am at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Burial will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery.
