Rickey Gomez Obituary (1968

Rickey Gomez, 48 years old, of Winthrop Harbor, died on February 14, 2017 at Northwestern Hospital. He was born on March 29, 1968 in Highland Park. Rickey was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish. He was preceded in death by his father Eugenio Gomez. He will be dearly missed by his mother Luz T. Gerena; sister Marlene Carrillo; his 5 children Joey Bickwermert, Jessica Gomez-Wilson, Samantha Castañeda, Rickey Gomez Jr., Karysa Gomez and Sonya Cowen, who he raised as his own. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren with an additional grand baby on the way, extended family and numerous friends. His visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5-8 PM at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington St. Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10 AM at Queen of Peace Church 910 14th St. North Chicago, IL 60064. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park 1436 Kenosha Rd.
