Job 1:21 Zoila Maritza Ramirez Garcia, nació el 21 de septiembre de 1957 en Guatemala. Hija de Alfredo Ramirez & Maria de La Luz Garcia♰. Descansó en los brazos de su Señor por la mañana del Miércoles 28 de Febrero del 2024 a los 66 años de edad después de una corta lucha contra el cáncer. Permaneció en su patria Guatemala hasta 1989 y luego de ello se estableció aquí en los Estados Unidos. Vivía en North Chicago, IL con Cisco(Francisco) & Maga(Iris) su querida hermana, quien la cuido con ahínco hasta su último suspiro. Siendo la matriarca Ramirez, con amor trato de aconsejar y guiar sabiamente a los integrantes de su familia. Le sobreviven; su padre Alfredo Ramirez y su esposa Rosa Patzan, sus hermanos: Myrna, Iris, Veronica, Wendy, Alfredo, Freddy Daniel y Juan Pablo. Sus sobrinos: Jacky, Nicole, JJ, Jenny, Maria, Ashley, Marvin, Kebi, David, Josue, Jassmin, Valery, Andre, Paola, Guillermo, Melissa, Johan, Nataly, Eliana, Maya, Danielito, Miguelito y Grace. Su gran deleite era aprender y obedecer cada dia mas a Dios lo cual lograba al ser miembro de la Iglesia “Ven Señor Jesús” Ministerios Elim de Waukegan, IL en dónde nació una linda amistad con: Juan Pablo, Celsa, Barbara, Jorleny, Elmer & Paola, Carlos & Maru y muchos más. Ella amaba estar rodeada de su familia y amigos cercanos. Su mayor anhelo era volver a la tierra que la vio nacer; su querida Guatemala y a pesar de estar tan lejos amo sus tradiciones; la marimba, artesanias folkloricas y preparar para la familia deliciosos platillos típicos: tamales, paches, chuchitos, chiles rellenos, casamiento, curtido, torrejas, rellenitos, ponche y muchos muchos más. Su pasión era cocinar, cantar y exaltar a Dios a toda voz, escuchar música: instrumental, tríos, tangos, óperas, zarzuelas, boleros y sin faltar hermosas alabanzas a su Rey de Reyes con su pandereta. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran: escribir y compartir pensamientos y pasajes bíblicos,ver películas y hacer artes y manualidades usando la creatividad que Dios le otorgó. Amaba servir a otros y al igual ella fue correspondida. Nunca olvidaremos tantas muestras amorosas de: Wendy, Alfredo, Yliana, Guisela, Luisa & Pedro, Paquito, Jordan, Maria & Tim, Gaby, Ashley, David, JJ, Jose, Martha, Kebi, Rene, Marvin & Myra, Coco, Ana Maria, Marleni & Ana, Josue & Laura, Rosy, Alicia, Graciela, Juan Pablo, Patty, Lorena, Jorleny, Maru, Rony & Eva, Luisa J., Andre & Daisy, Ramon & Agapita, Judy Loseff, Pastores Juan & Mónica Lima; a quienes dieron cuidados y atención, viajaron desde lejos, apoyaron económicamente, cocinaron, trajeron flores y diferentes clases de alimentos, y a quienes sacrificaron prioridades; en el momento preciso sus acciones mostraron el verdadero amor de Dios a nuestra querida Zoila y a la vez a nuestra familia. En el mar de personas que mostraron su amor puede ser que hayamos olvidado algún nombre, pedimos nos disculpen. Reconocemos a Jacky: quien fue su representante médico legal y dedicó días de trabajo por meses para tomar cuidado de su querida tía Mari. Agradecemos a Nicole: por las incansables visitas, contemplando, alimentando y llevando alegría al corazón de su amada tía Maritza cuando se encontraba en lugares de rehabilitación. Sus últimos días en casa fueron marcados por los cuidados especiales de su “enfermera de cabecera” Jenny y su fiel asistente Yonkita. Gracias sinceras a JourneyCare y al resto de su equipo con sus excelentes representantes: Tim, Donna, Hailey y Sandra quienes fueron parte vital en estas últimas semanas y con su apoyo nos guiaron tanto médica, emocional y espiritualmente. Saliendo en procesión fúnebre hacia el cementerio Ascension Catholic Cemetery, localizado en 1920 W. Buckley Rd., Libertyville, IL 60048. Daughter of Alfredo Ramirez & Maria de La Luz Garcia♰. She rested in the arms of her Lord on the morning of Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 66 years of age after a short battle with cancer. She remained in her homeland Guatemala until 1989 and after that she settled here in the United States. She lived in North Chicago, IL with Cisco(Francisco) & Maga(Iris), her beloved sister, who took care of her with zeal until her last breath. Being the Ramirez matriarch, she lovingly tried to wisely advise and mentor the members of her family. She is survived by her father Alfredo Ramirez and his wife Rosa Patzan, her siblings: Myrna, Iris, Veronica, Wendy, Alfredo, Freddy Daniel and Juan Pablo. Her nieces and nephews: Jacky, Nicole, JJ, Jenny, Jenny, Maria, Ashley, Marvin, Kebi, David, Josue, Jassmin, Valery, Andre, Paola, Guillermo, Melissa, Johan, Nataly, Eliana, Maya, Danielito, Miguelito and Grace. Her great delight was to learn about and obey God more and more each day, which she accomplished by being a member of the church " Ven Señor Jesús'' Elim Ministries of Waukegan, IL where a beautiful friendship was born with: Juan Pablo, Celsa, Barbara, Jorleny, Elmer & Paola, Carlos & Maru and many more. She loved being surrounded by her family and close friends. Her greatest desire was to return to the land of her birth; her beloved Guatemala and even though she was so far away she loved her traditions; the marimba, folkloric crafts and preparing delicious traditional dishes for her family: tamales, paches, chuchitos, chiles rellenos, casamiento, curtido, torrejas, rellenitos, ponche and many many more. Her passion was cooking, singing and exalting God at the top of her voice, listening to music: instrumental, trios, tangos, operas, zarzuelas, boleros and of course beautiful praises to her King of Kings with her tambourine. Her favorite hobbies were: writing and sharing thoughts and biblical passages, watching movies and making arts and crafts using the creativity God gave her. She loved to serve others and she was equally reciprocated. We will never forget so many tokens of love from: Wendy, Alfredo, Yliana, Guisela, Luisa & Pedro, Paquito, Jordan, Maria & Tim, Gaby, Ashley, David, JJ, Jose, Martha, Kebi, Rene, Marvin & Myra, Coco, Ana Maria, Marleni & Ana, Josue & Laura, Rosy, Alicia, Graciela, Juan Pablo, Patty, Lorena, Jorleny, Maru, Rony & Eva, Luisa J., Andre & Daisy, Ramon & Agapita, Judy Loseff, Pastors Juan & Monica Lima; to whom gave care and attention, traveled from far away, supported economically, cooked, brought flowers and different kinds of food, and to whom sacrificed priorities; at the right time their actions showed the true love of God to our dear Zoila and at the same time to our family. In the sea of people who showed their love we might have forgotten some names, and we apologize for that. We honor Jacky: who was her medical power of attorney and who dedicated several workdays for months to take care of her dear Aunt Mari. We wish to acknowledge Nicole: for her tireless visits, contemplating, nourishing and bringing joy to the heart of her beloved Aunt Maritza when she was in rehabilitation. Her last days at home were marked by the extraordinary care of her "bedside nurse" Jenny and her faithful assistant Yonkita. A heartfelt thanks to JourneyCare and the rest of their team with their excellent representatives: Tim, Donna, Hailey and Sandra who were a vital part of these last few weeks and through their support they guided us both medically, emotionally and spiritually.
