Zoila Ocampo, 76 años, llegó al eterno descanso el 29 de septiembre de 2026. Hija de Balbino y Lucina Ocampo; Zoila nació el 17 de agosto 1950 en Quetzalapa, Guerrero, Mexico.

Zoila fue una madre amorosa, dedicada al hogar y al bienestar de sus hijos. Un corazón noble y humilde, siempre con los brazos abiertos te recibía en su hogar. El convivir con su familia era su felicidad y su mayor anhelo.

La recuerdan cariñosamente sus hijos, Patricia, Luis, Javier, y Jorge Velasco; sus nietos, bisnietos, familia aquí y en su natal Quetzalapa y en el Estado de México. Ahora se encuentra al lado de su querida hija, Marilu Velasco.

Su familia les invita a su velorio cuál será el domingo, 4 de octubre 2026 de 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm en funeraria The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Su última despedida será el lunes, 5 de octubre 2026 a las 9:00 am en la funeraria, después saldremos hacia su santa misa que comenzará a las 10:00 am en la Iglesia Sagrada Familia, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Zoila Ocampo, 76 years old, passed away on September 29, 2026. The daughter of Balbino and Lucina Ocampo, Zoila was born on August 17, 1950, in Quetzalapa, Guerrero, Mexico.

Zoila was a loving mother, dedicated to her home and the well-being of her children. Possessing a noble and humble heart, she always welcomed people into her home with open arms. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy and she always looked forward to seeing them.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Patricia, Luis, Javier, and Jorge Velasco—as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family here, in her hometown of Quetzalapa, and in the State of Mexico. She is now reunited with her beloved daughter, Marilu Velasco.

Her family invites you to her visitation which will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Her final viewing will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 9:00 am at the funeral home; afterwards, we will proceed to her funeral Mass, which will begin at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
